( just so you know, the following 'essay' may or may not make any sense. also it's pretty unorganized. im just blabbering my thoughts out before studying. so, here we go.)
WAIT, IM ALREADY GRADUATING FROM PEICAI? SINCE WHEN?!
im kidding. time flies dosen't it? I could still remember my first day of secondary school like it was yesterday.
I remember coming into peicai 15 minutes before assembly time, thinking about how RIDICULOUS it was that our assembly was held in a carpark. Looking at new faces, some familiar ones ( my cousin was still in peicai at that time ) . I remembered feeling scared, at the same time excited to start a whole new journey, to learn things never taught in primary school.
I remember having my first orientation camp that i left during the second day because it was really boring. It was eventually the right decision because the following day i visited my greataunt who passed away shortly after. I also met new friends, classmates, siti and yuanjin who were and will always be my bestfriends.
I joined DRAMA CLUB and stayed there for a good 5 years. Made amazing friends, kenny, zu, chunhua, jiaxin, carol, ari, nic and many many more. we've been through really tough times but managed to survive, all because we stuck together. I entered into a whole new world of theatre, learned about acting , getting into character and more. I got to perform for 3 SYFS (COP, Bronze, Silver) , competed in 2 NCP competitions ( 1st place for 07' and 08' ) , ignite concert in 08' and 10' and even got to perform in CHINA! I remember wanting to give up several times .. thank god i didn't !
I also joined the STUDENT COUNCIL. i remember being in sec 1, inspired by seniors, especially the EXCOS. I liked how serious they were in their work. I joined, took care of 1A'08 ( currently 4A'11) & one other class which i forgot. Met awesome people, Elroy, Dinali, Yali, Marrissa just to name a few ..
I still remember that proud moment when i got my SC badge. I even got my mother to watch the investiture!
Being in the student council was never easy. but really, its worth it.
( speaking of which, i can't wait for the farwell party! :D )
other events i just thought of (not going into detail otherwise this might take an eternity to finish) include the trip to kuantan where i learnt how to dance with ms melinda! SC FAMILY DAY! Art coursework for N & O levels which I SURVIVED! Heartstrings day which was a disaster, that recent event fair thingy which i forgot what's it called, outing with the drama club at MARINA BARRAGE when i got badly sunburnt, performing at SOTA, Being on some channel U show as an audience for recording with other performing art students (MY FACE WAS ON TV FOR A GOOD 3 SECONDS! ) , Singing colours of the wind on stage in sec 1 for the first time .. this list goes on and on!
I had some AMAZING teachers, some terrible ones (JUST KIDDING! .... not really.) I will never forget them! mainly their naggings, some of them even haunt me in my sleep! No but really, thank you teachers for not giving up on us. Just to name a few teachers whom im really grateful for: Mrs Ivy Lim, Mr Tang, Mr fahmy, Mr Liew, Mdm Komathi, Mr Vincent Ho, Mr Andy Yeo , Ms Mok, Mdm Tan CG, Mdm devi (my drama mama ;) ) & of course several others.
THANK YOU! :) * vitrual hugs*
I will definitely miss secondary school life :| wasn't the best 5years of my life like everyone else say but still,
it was alright. okay bye.
A part of me feels like i will definitely cry during Graduation day. Will I? hmm .. maybe. PREPARE TISSUE!
and now for the negative side of secondary school life:
I got bullied, made fun of, i remember going home ranting about them to my parents after which i cried alone. I am not skinny like most girls, spent quite an awful lot of time crying about it. I just hate how many couldn't accept the way i am. I remembered feeling unappreciative & invisible. I've learnt to be strong, for i see no point in quarreling with brainless people. I must say this is one of the few things i can't wait to leave behind.
There are also several faces who i wish to NEVER SEE THEM, EVER. thank you for nothing. just go burn in hell or something okay? thanks.
I decided to look at my old blog posts about him. sigh, i miss those times ... well to some extent. it was fun, yet torturing. I can't believe i liked him for a good 3 years! And now he has a girlfriend *forever alone* .
he was my first crush, and yes i will never forget him.
( to be honest, im pretty lazy to blog. have lost all that blogging stamina i once had. i could literally blog all day, blabbering on and on about the random things i did! )
My dreams of performing are starting to die off. watching my old videos, i realise that i DON'T HAVE THE TALENT AT ALL. im useless, i never good in anything. not like other multi-talented girls. to add on, im that ugly fat girl that no guys would ever like. damn.
WHY CAN'T I JUST LEARN TO LOVE MYSELF?
